Just now, we visited the Red Building at Peking University and Chairman MAO's former residence at Fengze Garden, both of which are of landmark significance in the history of the Party. The Red Building of Peking University is closely related to the founding of the Party. Peking University is the center of the New Culture Movement and the source of the May 4th Movement. It was the earliest place to spread Marxist thought in China, and also the historical witness of the early revolutionary activities of our Party in Beijing, playing an important role in the process of the founding of the Party. Chairman MAO's former residence in Fengzeyuan is closely related to the establishment of new China. Since September 21, 1949, Chairman MAO worked and lived here for 17 years, and planned a series of major policies and plans for the establishment and construction of new China. The history of these two places vividly illustrates how the CPC and the People's Republic of China came to be, and gives us a fresh and vivid lesson in party history.

 

Red is the brightest undertone of the Communist Party of China and the People's Republic of China. Red resources are scattered all over China's vast land of over 9.6 million square kilometers, and red blood has been passed down from generation to generation in the course of the Century-long struggle in which the CPC united and led the Chinese people. Every historical event, every revolutionary hero, every revolutionary spirit, and every revolutionary cultural relic represents the glorious course the Party has traversed and the major achievements it has made. They give expression to the Party's dreams, aspirations, commitment, sacrifice, and dedication, and become the red blood of the Party. The red blood vein is the concentrated embodiment of the political essence of the COMMUNIST Party of China and the source of spiritual strength for Chinese Communists in the new era.

After the conclusion of the 18th CPC National Congress, members of the Standing Committee of the Political Bureau of the CPC Central Committee visited the exhibition "Road to Rejuvenation" to review the arduous journey of the Chinese nation in modern times. I stressed that it is incumbent on us to undertake the historical mission of realizing the Chinese dream of national rejuvenation. After the conclusion of the 19th CPC National Congress, members of the Standing Committee of the Political Bureau of the CPC Central Committee paid their respects at the site of the FIRST NATIONAL Congress of the CPC in Shanghai and the Red Boat on The South Lake of Jiaxing, demonstrating to the whole Party and nation their firm determination to continue the red blood line and follow the Long March in the new era. Since the 18th National Congress of the Communist Party of China (CPC), I have visited revolutionary holy sites, old red sites and revolutionary historical memorial sites of great historical significance to our Party. From party to party a site each important revolutionary base areas, from the land revolution, the Anti-Japanese War, liberation war memorial sites to socialist revolution and construction, reform and opening to the important memorial place, etc., each to the floor and relive it eventful days, review all the way through difficult process, the soul was a shock, spirit is a baptism. Each time, I went with reverence and came back with a lot of insight. At the celebration of the 95th anniversary of the founding of the Communist Party of China, I stressed, "As we move forward, we must not forget the road we have traveled. No matter how far we go and how bright the future may be, we should never forget the past and why we set out."

 

Journey back at the past, look ahead, we must always persist red blood, and with the party's struggle, inspiring morale, direction, and great achievement with the glorious tradition and fine style firm faith, cohesive forces, created by the party's historical experience and practice wisdom, caress character, the development progress.

 

At present, the whole Party is solemnly celebrating the centenary of the founding of the Party and conducting in-depth study and education of party history. Party organizations at all levels should make full use of red resources, educate and guide party members and cadres to keep up the red blood line, and make sure to learn history with clear sense, enhance credibility, worship morality and practice. The key is to grasp the following points.

 

First, educate and guide the whole Party to always adhere to the guidance of scientific theories. The Red Building of Peking University, where we just visited, left behind the deeds of Li Dazhao, Chen Duxiu and other party founders who spread Marxism. The widespread spread of Marxism in China gave birth to the Communist Party of China, and Marxism gave our Party a scientific world outlook and methodology, and a powerful ideological weapon to understand and transform the world. Comrade MAO Zedong once said, "The theoretical basis on which we dare to think, speak, act and act is Marxism-Leninism." It is thanks to the guidance of Marxism that our Party has been able to be clear-eyed and determined, not to waver in the face of key choices, not to flutter in the face of difficulties and hardships, and not to become discouraged in the face of numerous crises, and to walk with full confidence to victory.

 

The history of our Party is a history of promoting the sinicization of Marxism and constantly enriching and developing Marxism, as well as a history of using Marxist theories to understand and transform China. Over the past 100 years, our Party has continued to integrate the basic tenets of Marxism with China's specific conditions, established MAO Zedong Thought and Deng Xiaoping Theory, formed the important Thought of Three Represents and the Scientific Outlook on Development, and created the Thought on Socialism with Chinese Characteristics for a New Era, thus guiding the Cause of the Party and the people to constantly break new ground. The reason why the CPC is capable and why socialism with Chinese characteristics is good is fundamentally because Marxism works. We must learn from the Party's century-long struggle the power of truth, deepen our understanding of the laws governing the COMMUNIST Party, building socialism, and developing human society, and shine the light of Marxist truth on our way forward.

 

Second, education guides the whole Party to always uphold ideals and convictions. I have repeatedly quoted "revolutionary ideals are above heaven" to illustrate the importance of ideals and beliefs. The name of our Party "Communist Party" affirms the lofty ideal of communism. Looking back at the 100-year history of the Party, thousands of Communists did not hesitate to shed their heads and blood for their ideals and beliefs. Li Dazhao to the gallows, issued a "communist in China must get a glorious victory" of the firm oath. Today, we are far away from the danger of war and have lived a peaceful life for a long time. We are most vulnerable to the "rickets disease" caused by the lack of ideals and beliefs. Communism is the great ideal of our Party. To realize this great ideal, we must firmly believe in socialism with Chinese characteristics. All Party members should strengthen their awareness of the importance of socialism with Chinese characteristics for a new era, strengthen their confidence in the importance of socialism with Chinese characteristics, and forge ahead on our new journey to fully build a modern socialist country.

Third, educate and guide the entire Party to remain true to its original mission. Keeping in mind and fulfilling the original mission of seeking happiness for the Chinese people and rejuvenation for the Chinese nation is a red line that runs through our Party's century-long struggle. The fundamental reason why our Party has been able to grow from such a weak situation and rise again and again from the ashes despite numerous difficulties is that it has kept to its original mission and faithfully implemented its fundamental purpose of wholeheartedly serving the people, thus winning the people's heartfelt support and support. The people are the root of our Party's life, the foundation for its governance and the source of its strength.

 

I have repeatedly stressed that the country is the people and the people are the country, and it is the people's hearts that govern and defend the country. I want to warn all comrades that for a Party that has been in power for a long time, there is no greater danger than forgetting its original mission and becoming divorced from the people. As long as we always share weal and woe with the people, the people will unswervingly follow the Party and the Party will continue to prosper. All Party members must learn from the Party's century-long struggle to understand its original mission, implement the vision of people-centered development, and remain committed to realizing the great rejuvenation of the Chinese nation.

 

Fourth, educate and guide the whole Party to always adhere to the glorious revolutionary tradition. Our Party's century-long struggle shows that only a party with a great spirit can lead the people to win a great struggle and create a great cause. Generation after generation of Chinese Communists have defied difficulties and obstacles, faced up to risks and challenges, and worked tirelessly and tenaciously, demonstrating a great spirit of historical initiative, building up the spiritual lineage of Chinese Communists and forming a glorious tradition of the Party. The Party's great spirit and glorious tradition are our precious spiritual wealth and a powerful spiritual driving force that inspires us to forge ahead courageously. Li Dazhao once said, "The road of history is not always smooth. Sometimes we encounter difficulties and obstacles, which can only be overcome by a vigorous spirit."

 

Today, China is in a critical period of realizing the great rejuvenation of the Chinese nation. The prosperity of the country and the rejuvenation of the nation require the accumulation of material civilization and the sublimation of spiritual civilization. Path forward is unlikely to be a royal road to learning, we must face the big challenges, major risk resistance, major, major contradiction, must not lose the spirit of revolution and desperately, never lost a modest and prudent, avoid arrogance, the tradition of hard work, thrift, must not lose not afraid of the strong, not afraid risk, the courage to dare to struggle, dare to victory. Fifth, we need to educate and guide the whole Party in advancing self-reform. The century-long struggle of our Party shows that a great Marxist political party is not born, but is forged through long-term social practice and tempered through constant self-revolution. The greatness of our Party does not lie in never making mistakes, but in never avoiding medical problems, facing up to problems and having the courage to make self-revolution. The secret of our Party's resilience lies in its powerful capacity for self-purification, self-improvement, self-renewal and self-improvement. Practice has proved that as long as we always uphold truth and correct mistakes, our Party will always retain its advanced nature and purity and remain invincible.

 

Our Party has been in power for over 70 years and will remain in power for a long time to come. The spirit of self-revolution is a strong support for the Party's ability to govern, and must not be lost at any time.
